A short excerpt from the Bursa.ro article on our future plans:
• Currently, we are undertaking a series o feasibility studies as a first step in project development, so as to apply for various financing schemes using EU funding
• We have recently started to deliver our products to supermarkets in Greece and Spain and we propose to strengthen our position in these markets
• We are interested in developing in the area of food packaging, as well as in the mail of courier bags
We plan to build a new factory that will allow us to double our production capacity and diversify the portfolio of products with a lower environmental impact," said Tudor Georgescu, general manager of the manufacturer of renewable and compostable packaging Promateris, former Prodplast.
Tudor Georgescu pointed out that Promateris, the company with the largest production capacity in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to compostable bio-based packaging, occupies the leading position in the market, which implies the possibility to make economies of scale and offer a very good price-quality ratio.
"We will continue to invest in the industrial recycling of technological waste. It is a new niche for the Romanian market and is addressed to producers who want to reduce their carbon footprint in the production process", said the director of the packaging manufacturer, a company that has recently undergone a rebranding process, out of the need to align its entire identity with the production activity.
