Promateris has become the first company in Romania with local ownership to obtain the prestigious B Corp certification. This international recognition validates Promateris’ commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and strong governance practices.

The B Corp certification is awarded by the American nonprofit organization B Lab to companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and accountability. Being a B Corp reflects a company’s commitment to integrating a positive impact on the environment and society into its business model, pursuing economic performance while also being responsible toward sustainability and the community.

This recognition follows a rigorous audit process that assessed Promateris’ impact on the environment, its team, customers, and the local community. It stands as concrete proof that sustainability is not just a secondary element of Promateris' operations but the very foundation of its business model.
