Promateris plans to invest EUR 7 million in a new sustainable packaging factory in Crevedia, Dâmboviţa County, Romania.

"We plan to build a new plant in Crevedia, which will allow us to double our production capacity and also to diversify our portfolio. We plan on manufacturing packaging with low environmental impact, including marine biodegradable products. The initial investment will be EUR 7 million and will be made in two stages. The construction will begin in 2021 and will be completed in 2023, "says Tudor Georgescu, Director of Promateris.

The company manufactures packaging made from renewable, biodegradable and compostable materials and has a factory in Buftea, near Bucharest, Romania.

Promateris has leading production capacity in Eastern Europe and works with major clients throughout Europe. They offer highly customized solutions for retailers, HoReCa and waste management companies.
